I can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas!

Time to get those Christmas, handmade decorations out and dusted off.

This year I’ve had a great brain wave.  Every other year I always hang my Christmas decorations horizontally, across the room.  I string up my paper chains and baubles neatly across the room.  But, this year, something different.

This year I’m going to hang my handmade decorations, my paper chains vertically in a cluster.  Yes that’s right, a cluster. I’m going with the traditional red for my color theme.  I’ve handmade some paper chain decorations in different patterns, but all red in color.  They are going to look great.

I’ll hang several groups of my handmade paper chain decorations in clusters, in different places around the room.  It will have a fabulous immediate visual impact when everyone walks into the room. I’ve also handmade my red reindeer decoration to fit the red theme.  It took quite a while, but it looks stunning – I’m really happy with it.  I love hand making things that you can’t find in the shops, or online, or anywhere!  I’m still working on the rest of the styling, but at least I’m off to a great, stylish start.
